This is very annoying, I get this sometimes when I try to change the resolution of a bug, or move it to a different component, etc. Unfortunately I don't have an STR.

Tracy, you mentioned this recently.. is this a valid bug still? If so, we should get it into triage now that the parent is fixed.

I can no longer reproduce the issue with current nightly. Something in the past couple of days seems to have fixed it. For the record, here are STR's for what I was seeing: 0) Have this bug report open 1) change the size of your window such that the bottom of the window is a few cm or so below the Platform choices. 2) Click on the OS selection tested results: the select box would not open work around: make the window larger or scroll the page such that the selection list could drop down. Expected results: The select list opens, even if the list must expand past the bottom of the window.

I can still reproduce this just by shrinking the height of the current Firefox window and moving it down to the bottom of the screen. Trying to select a platform with the mouse is impossible now if the popup is rendered above the input instead of below.

Tim can you reproduce in a clean profile? (new or one with addons disabled)

Can't reproduce anymore with my default profile. Updated to the current Nightly in between, maybe that fixed it?

Ok. your Nightly build must have been a week or more old prior to update. Something fixed this recently. Marking this WFM. Anyone, please reopen if you're able to reproduce with a current Nightly build.

(In reply to [:tracy] Tracy Walker - QA Mentor from comment #6) > Ok. your Nightly build must have been a week or more old prior to update. > Something fixed this recently. Just commenting to say that my Nightly was very recent, i.e. yesterday's Nightly. I'll keep an eye out.
Did you restart your machine, as well? Come to think of it. that may be why I am no longer seeing this issue. I am not leaving my machine running for days, as I was before. Steven Michuad says OS X can get into these weird states if left running.
