From Bugzilla Helper: User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.0; en-US; rv:0.9.5) Gecko/20011011 BuildID: 2001101117 Pages first visited by the browser give "cannot find.." errors. A relaod (sometimes several times repeated) finally shows the complete page. Reproducible: Sometimes Steps to Reproduce: 1. go to a website not in cache 2. mozilla might give an error "... not found" 3. press reload (sometimes more than once) 4. page shows completely and correctly Actual Results: After this steps and lateron revisiting the page, no problems (page seems to be in cache then) Expected Results: show the website without the need to click reload several times. This happens after I have downloaded Netscape 6.2 (in a seperate directory) and changed my fat32 filesystem into ntfs. Perhaps this has something to do with it??
Your build is old, try with a recent nightly.

Bug appeared in 2001110703 also, after I have used Netscape 6.2 once as a browswer instead of Mozilla. A reinstallation of the latest build did not work, but emptying the caches in memory and on disk did help (as far as I could notice). So probably this is just a miscommunication between the different versions of Netscape 6.2 and Mozilla 0.9.x ???

I do not use a proxy. The situation happens only after I have used netscape 6.2 and then start Mozilla. Probably Netscape 6.2 is destroying my cache. Emptying the disk and memory cache in Mozilla helps: from then on no problems anymore.

Yes indeed, I did use NS 6.2 and M0.9.x at the same time, probably NS 6.2 distroying my cache.
