STR: 1. In an e10s window, watch the following YouTube video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zBT49a0RYuA&hd=1 RESULT: Every ~10 seconds or so, the video will hang for a couple seconds. If you don't see the hangs, you might need to change the video's Settings Quality to 720p60. The video is using video/webm; codecs="vp9" and DASH. If I disable media.mediasource.enabled OR media.mediasource.webm.enabled OR open the video in a non-e10s window, then the hangs go away. I am using Nightly 37 build 2014-11-30.
I have no add-ons enabled, but the hangs become much worse if I enable Adblock Plus. The video does not show the YouTube buffering spinner; it just stops for ~3 seconds and then jumps ahead.
Has this been fixed? I just tried it with a tip debug build (you need to disable mp4 and enable webm), and got perfect 60fps playback for the entire video.
WORKSFORME now with either mp4 or webm.
