(Please note, the steps to reproduce in this comment don't directly correlate to the log I'll attach/link to -- but they should help.) Build ID: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.1; Win64; x64; rv:40.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/40.0 Display adapter type NVIDIA Quadro K600 Total available graphics memory 17123 MB Dedicated graphics memory 1024 MB Dedicated system memory 0 MB Shared system memory 16099 MB Display adapter driver version 9.18.13.4752 Primary monitor resolution 1920x1200 DirectX version DirectX 10 STR: 1. On desktop nightly, load https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=I54vzcQmnKY 2. Play around with setting it to 4K, letting it buffer/play a bit, then dropping it down to 240p/360p, again letting it buffer, then playing 3. Soon after #2 starts playing, go back to the beginning of the video, and now change to 4K Expected Results: 1. Starts buffering at/to 4K video, then playing eventually 2. The "Pause" button should let you toggle back to "Play" Actual Results: 1. Appears to be stuck (AJAX spinner), although I do see a few GET requests for the thumbnails, if I hover over the seek bar 2. Toggling Pause/Play button has no effect (Here's a screencast, which, again, sorry, doesn't directly correlate to the STR given or the log file, but exhibits the problem.)
And, sorry, forgot the link to the screencast (it's in Flash): http://screencast.com/t/x6nZD7B9
In case it helps further, here's a new screencast + logfile, which both directly correlate, showing the same problem. 4k works pretty well these days. Is this still an issue for you?
(In reply to Anthony Jones (:kentuckyfriedtakahe, :k17e) from comment #4) > 4k works pretty well these days. Is this still an issue for you? Sorry for the delay in responding; I haven't seen this since. Marking as WORKSFORME.
