Details
If I correct a typo using the context menu spellcheck substitution option, and then later I hit the backspace key, that spellcheck substitution is lost.
Steps to repro:
Install latest nightly build on Mac.
Visit FB and type something in a comment box with a typo.
Correct the typo via the context menu option.
Add another word or character or space and hit delete.
Results:
The word or character or space is deleted *and* the spellcheck fix is lost.
Expected:
The corrected word should not be uncorrected when hitting backspace/delete.
This makes the spellchecker basically broken because any backspace seems to undo the spellchecking fixes.

Is this still an issue in Firefox 43? Something similar was fixed in version 43, see bug 1170484.
