Steps to reproduce:

1. Launch Firefox
2. navigate to https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Y4uIvK8Y7t8
3. Enter picture in picture
4. navigate to new desktop environment

Actual results:

PiP window does not automatically move to new desktop environment

Expected results:

PiP window should move to new desktop environment automatically

I have a problem where i use my second monitor for firefox and the picture in picture video plays on my first monitor, so being able to move it would be a helpful addition. Didn't know whether to make a new bug report for this so just adding on.

Thanks everyone. It seems the original issue has been resolved, on MacOS the video now follows you around between desktops.

The issue in comment #3 sounds like a different one, which is probably a duplicate of bug #1545752.

I have verified that the PiP is now moving between desktops on Mac OS 11.6.5 on Nightly v100.0a1, however, this feature could also be implemented for Windows and Linux systems: bug 1762950.
