It's impossible to enter a new url without using "open web url"-option. Even though this
might be a feature, I just think it's a bug because it makes the browser harder to use.
Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1. open mozilla
2. try to place marker in url bar
3. try to write something in url bar
Actual Results:
nothing. cannot type any url
Expected Results:
opened a url
I'm using MacOS X 10.2.2
Dup of bug 82534
Is the theme you use compatible with 1.2?
An OS-X user in bug 82534 writes "I can get the caret to reappear by hitting
"home" and then back."
I've also seen a similar thing on Linux, and could use "enter" in urlbar again
after first right-clicking in it to trigger the context-menu.
The equivalent on a Mac may be "ctrl-click" or similar? Please tell if it works.

It does work, but it shouldn't be necessary. The theme is the one that comes
with mozilla. Sorry for duplicating but I couldn't find it, and it seemed
like noone had reported it since it has stayed this way through Netscape 7 -
Mozilla 1.2.1.
