An extremely useful menu item, Send Link on the mail dropdown button, has gone
missing recently.  It needs to be added back.

Blake removed it from both the Tools Menu (browser-menubar.inc) and the
toolbarbutton (browser.xul) on 2004-07-12 20:24:

This functionality is available from the File menu and the context menu.

That is true.  However, so is Back, Forward, etc. etc.  
IE has this, and the mail button was obviously modelled after that, so why
remove a feature people are used to seeing and using?
On top of that, there's another bug open that claims somebody higher up wants
Send Link/Page/Image removed from the context menu as well.
It's not like the mail button is crowded in any sense of the word.  In fact, it
almost looks silly now with so few options.
Please reconsider.

I forgot to mention that Send Link was the only actual browser oriented option
(send the URL I'm seeing in my browser) on that menu.  All the others do is
launch an ap.

I also want to support what is said in comment #5
Personally I was using it a lot and I miss it badly. And it would it bring also
closer to IE (like already mentioned).
