If you put focus there, the spell checker is grayed out. I'd actually like it if the spell checker checked both the subject and body when you select it, you didn't have the put focus in the subject field for it to get checked. Confirming this behavior for Linux 2.6.3-7mdk (Mandrake 10.0 official), Thunderbird version 0.9 (20041103) I'd also like to see this enhancement implemented. Reporter/owner: can you change the OS to ALL ?
