mime.dll is another of those dll:s that are just loaded and not used when starting up the browser. I think this is because msglocal.dll is loaded so I will make this dependent on that bug (bug 46800). Hopefully this will be fixed by fixing that.

Do you still see this? I don't see mime.dll getting loaded on startup. I set some breakpoints in the mime module. I did see msgimap get loaded (I use imap not pop) which is expected because my localstore.rdf had several references to imap:// uris.
I too don't see it anymore. This must have been fixed somehow.
