Details

We can detect the version of all plugins on Firefox 3.6+ as the browser exposes navigator.plugins[id].version (See Bug 522585) but the status is always "Unable to Detect Plugin Version" if no information found on the PFS. The plugin check should have another status "You have version x.x.x.x but the database doesn't know about the plugin" (unknown) and distinguish it from "Unable to Detect Plugin Version" (undetected).
