I am currently looking at mute functionality, and would like to be able to detect at the receiver's end, so that I can display some additional UI. The current version of the spec has provision for onmute and onumute in MediaStreamTrack, but this hasn't been implemented yet. Hence filing a bug to capture and track the need.
