Details
(Keywords: feature, Whiteboard: [WebRTC] [parity-chrome])
User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Ubuntu; Linux x86_64; rv:26.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/26.0 (Beta/Release)
Build ID: 20131206152142
Steps to reproduce:
Chromium and Chrome have an hidden option. (see how to here: https://talky.io/help/screensharing)
Before to do it, you could go to this website https://talky.io or https://appear.in/ and share you screen to another Chrome/Chromium user (don't work with Firefox).
It's a great feature. Browser is on the most Interoperability programs and this feature is needed for Interoperability.
I don't know if this feature is expected in WebRTC, i only found some suggestion here:http://www.w3.org/TR/2012/WD-capture-scenarios-20120306/#showcase-demo-on-local-screen--screen-as-an-local-media-input-source
http://www.w3.org/wiki/Media_Capture#Possibility_to_select_sources_other_than_cam_or_mic
Tested with Chromium 32.0.1700.102
Actual results:
Firefox can't share screencast and i could receive a screencast from Chrome/Chromium
Expected results:
1) Firefox share desktop view and send it to others.
2) Firefox view a screensharing from another user via webRTC
